New Leak Shows Windows 10 Terminal Window Having Rounded Corners

As per a new leaked look of futuristic Windows 10, the PowerShell terminal had rounded window corners. A screenshot of this was posted by a Microsoft employee and soon deleted. It was already known that Microsoft is planning to bring fresh UI looks under the Fluent Design system, coming in the Windows 10 21H2 update scheduled later this year.

Windows 10 Terminal New Look

Ever since Microsoft declared that it wouldn’t be coming with something like Windows 11 and so on, but to develop only the Windows 10 in many versions, fans have worried more about its design development specifically. But Microsoft assured that they’d pass regular updates to improve the UI and make it feel more aesthetic.

While it didn’t do anything much to date, many speculate that a completely revamped design of Windows 10 UI will be coming soon, potentially with the upcoming Windows 10 21H2 update, also known as Sun Valley update. While this is scheduled for later this year, we now see a leak about the upcoming Windows 10 version’s revamped Terminal design.

Win 10 Terminal

As reported by Windows Latest, an employee from Microsoft has shared screenshots of the Windows 10 Terminal window, which has rounded corners unlike the sharp cuts as now. It surely gives a slight aesthetic look, but implementing such designs across the system will be more effective.

This could soon happen, as we have seen several of such leaks earlier regarding the terminal and system apps, Start Menu, Action Center, File Explorer, etc. Bringing a friendly look to the apps and system could make it more attractive and appealing to the users, hopes Microsoft.
