Microsoft Rolled Out Windows 10 KB5003637 & KB5003635 Cumulative Updates

Microsoft has rolled out the June 2021 Patch Tuesday update today, which contains KB5003637 & KB5003635 cumulative updates for Windows 10 supported versions. These are the May 2021 Update, Windows 10 October 2020 Update, Windows 10 June 2020 Update, and Windows 10 1909 update.

These cumulative updates contain security fixes for most of the Windows 10 components, from its core components to basic functions and browser to the whole OS itself. Eligible versions to obtain these are Windows 10 21H1, 20H2, and 2004 builds.

Microsoft has already released a preview of this month’s patch update last month, and let few users experience it. All the issues encountered by them in the beta have now been rectified and rolled out in the stable channel.

The June 2021 Patch Tuesday update is now available to download through the Windows Update section of your PCs, where you can find and install manually. Based on your current versions – Windows 10 21H1, 20H2, and 2004 – this update will bump the builds to 19043.1052, 19042.1052, and 19041.1052 respectively.

And when installed, it applies the security updates to

  • Windows Input and Composition,
  • Windows Management,
  • Windows Cloud Infrastructure,
  • Windows Authentication,
  • Windows Fundamentals,

  • Windows Storage and Filesystems.

The cumulative update for Windows 10 2004, 20H2, and 21H1 is identified as KB5003637, whereas for Windows 10 1909 is KB5003635, having the same security fixes as above.
