Method 1: Disable Automatic Startup Repair

You must first try to disable the automatic startup repair feature. It might have turned on for no reason, and it can be a problem for your system.

  1. Click on the Windows start menu and then on the Power button

  3. Now, go to Troubleshoot >> Advanced Options >> Command Prompt.
  4. In CMD, copy and paste the command given below
    bcdedit /set {default} recoveryenabled No

Method 2: Run DISM

  1. Enter the Boot Options just like we did in Method 1.
  2. Select Troubleshoot >> Advanced options >> Startup Repair
  3. Click on the Restart button. (PC will restart, and there will be a list of options. Select Enable Safe Mode with Networking).
  4. In the Safe mode, download the updated version of the driver that is troubling you.
  5. Download the driver from the website and save it to your USB flash drive.
  6. Now, open Command Prompt (Admin) by pressing Windows Key + X
  7. Copy and paste the given code (the process will take time around 15 mins, so be patient)

  9. Now, install the driver that you have downloaded.

Method 3: Fixing Your Registry Issues

  1. Go to the Windows login screen and click on the Power button. Enter the Boot Options as explained above.
  2. Navigate to Troubleshoot >> Advanced Options >> Command Prompt
  3. Paste the following command and press enter
    copy c:\windows\system32\config\RegBack* c:\windows\system32\config
  4. You might get a message asking you wish to overwrite existing files, then click on Overwrite and hit enter.
  5. Restart your computer and check whether the issue is resolved or not.

Method 4: Disable Early launch anti-malware protection

If you have recently installed an anti-malware program, and after that, you are facing a problem, it’s better to disable it.

  1. Click on Advanced options >> Troubleshoot >> Advanced options >> Startup settings.
